EMACS2027 Jyväskylä Promoted at EMACI 2026 in Toruń

Representatives of EMACS2027 Jyväskylä attended the EMACI competitions in Toruń, Poland, from 26–30 March 2026. The visit focused on observing the competition programme and organisational practices, as well as promoting the upcoming EMACS2027 Championships in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Special attention was given to the competition venue, Arena Toruń (Kujawy-Pomorze), where arena operations, logistics, team and officials’ areas, safety arrangements, and accreditation procedures were reviewed. These observations provide valuable insight for planning the Jyväskylä championships in 2027.

During the event, the Jyväskylä delegation participated in team leaders’ meetings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and held several meetings with the EMA Board regarding preparations for EMACS2027. The programme also included following the competitions and supporting Finnish athletes.

The EMACI event offered an excellent opportunity to benchmark international best practices and strengthen cooperation within the European masters athletics community in preparation for EMACS2027 Jyväskylä.
